I thought it was time for something particulary fucked up. And keep in mind that this is Breakcore we're talking about, which is generally pretty fucked up for most people.
So how is this different from most others? Well for one he's completely walked past the amen-break and moved on to sounds which should be considered particulary synthetic and twisted.
The beats usually splatter on in a very raw and hectic way, which I can imagine most people will find "too random".
There's nothing random about it. In fact, I'm highly impressed with the precision on how carefully he's placed each and every hit. Sure, I of course totally understand why people would draw that conclusion, but it's unfair. Better call it "too much for my taste",
Anyways, the beats might remember you of Ryan Friedrich aka Xanopticon, but it's different in a way that I'm too incompetent to explain.
The melodies are AWSOME! De-tuned synthesizers that seem to come from the schizophrenic circus of hell.
It's disturbing machines at work, it's playful game music, it's, as I said, AWSOME!
He's also a very kind man. In fact, he's been so kind as to upload most of his work for free download at this location. His blogg, but remember to especially read his first post.
When you've done that, enjoy the music. I particulary love the Albatross Ep.

eN
A few years ago I stumbled upon this dude and his ep 'The 3rd Chapter' which was released on Acroplane Records. The ep had five songs on it and one of them was a live take. All those five songs crushed. Crushed, I tell you! I had that little ep, which clocks in at 18 minutes in total, spinning for months almost everyday.
So I thought I'd write a little something about him. Now, that will be hard to do because the guy simply vansished. I've tried finding some valid information about him, but on Acroplane all I could find was this picture.
His myspace doesn't say that much either and it's no songs on it anymore. To tell you the truth I even had to struggle a little to find it again because he changed the adress there.
The little information I've managed to gather is from Archive.org and it says this:
"'The 3rd Chapter EP' is the first release from eN, a budding laptop musician from London, currently studying Music Informatics in Brighton.
Pairing the alluring qualities of atmospheric breaks and harsh edited Jungle rhythms with washed out synthetic soundscapes and deep bass, it walks the line between the tranquil and intense.
A founding partner of the No-Test collective and the infamous Erisian Discharge night’s, eN has been an up and coming force to watch out for, for some time now.
Creating his tunes in code using the venerable SuperCollider and already commending a sizeable back catalogue of jungle anthems and mashup breaks he's revered for his dance floor killas and live experimental laptop mashup’s, playing alongside acts such as Remarc, Doormouse, Drop The Lime, Mathhead, Tester, Debaser, Murderbot, Shitmat and Tim Exile."
You can find that Ep there too.
The music - Here we go once again with the Amen. This is very infuenced by jungle breaks with a lot of swelling sub bas that goes in creative and playful lines and the music is full of atmospheric soundscape pads. He has managed to pick up a low "djenty" punch in the Amens which is delicous. Makes the drums hit you really hard in the chest and ears.
I know I've seen and heard other songs on his myspace from a few years back that was even better but for now we'll just have to settle with this ep. Shouldn't be hard if you've never heard this before because if you really like this I salute you - you should have your ears ocuppied for months, just like I did.
As for me, I'll hold my thumbs for a new release in the near future!

Techdiff
I want to smash your fucking face unto the curb and shit inside of your heart!
I'll bust through brick, cement and concrete is what I feel like upon hearing this madman spinn.
As I understand, Dave Forrester started playing guitar and made one or some backing tracks for him to play along too. Gradually he got more into the direction of composing and producing songs. A good choice since I consider him making some of the most aggresive and well produced Breakcore out there. His songs got more and more complex and before he knew it, people in the Breakcore scene started notice him for his talent without him even having heard of the genre before.
In 2007 he released a 6-piece record on Allergy Records called 'Coronation Of A Kursed King' and it's just a fucking blast.
Like many in the genre he has the Amen break as a sturdy beat and he's managed to make that classic loop sound way better, production wise, than most people are able too, but let your focus go beyond that. If you like him you owe him that because this is a man that spends a lot of time on details. There's tons of metallic drum sounds, effects and melodies that intertwine around that amen that can not simply go to waste. This music is hard and evil and this is one hard and evil motherfucker.

Igorrr
Igorrr, also known as a french man, also known as Gautier Serre, is a multi-instrumentalist and composer from.. yeah, France.
Did I mention that he's french?
To me, he's got a whole different sound than most Breakcore producers I know, and the reason for that might be because it sounds more organic and non-programmed. Instead of using synthesizers that you instantly recognize as computer made, he uses samples of real sounding instruments, be it programmed or recorded.
It's a blend of opera-singing, contrabas, harpsichord in baroque style, classical guitars, pianos, woodwinds, and sometimes even full orchestras. Now, mix that with growling, splattering death metal samples and epic hiphop/jazz/metal influenced drum programmings, and you've got Igorrr.
Just the whole sound and mix is different as it sounds like everything has a filter effect on it like it has been recorded off of old vinyl records with all the hum and crackle, yet the production is very clear and up front.
However I'd have to admit that I sometimes think the way he builds the songs can be somewhat poor.
Anyways here's one of my favorite songs of his. It's a song called Phasme Obèse and it's from his album Moisissure from 2008. Notice how he uses and automate the reverb on the drums. The way he let the reverb tastefully swell, mute and pulsate to the beat is goddamn genious!
That album is available for free download at the label Acroplane here.
Damn, I'm excited for his new album! It's called Nostril and should be out Sept/Oct this year.
He's got two new songs uploaded on his myspace that I believe could be on that record. They're called Thermostat 7 and Melting Nails. Both of those songs sounds amazing to me. A lot better than many of his previous songs.
Rrrrrright... He's french, he's great, he's Igorrr. Listen to his music, while you enjoy the disturbing and class A artwork of his.
Over and out!

RAXYOR
All right! Our next madman up for show-off is Raxyor!!
A serious producer with no kind of "give-me-ecstasy-and-fuck-me-up-with-90s-jungle-beats"-feeling such as weyheyhey !! presented just before. This is music of a much darker nature portraiting a totally different part of the breakcore scene.
Alot of deep pads and sound effected hard-hitting drums and snares portraits this artist pretty good. I think a wish of keeping an atmosphere keeps this man in his creative process. Many parts of his music seem to work as bridges between parts of total madness, even though genres like these often do not consist of traditional arrangement pieces such as verses, choruses and bridges.
The production of his tracks is good even though some sounds can seem a bit crisp or over-tweaked sometimes. Over all his music gives sense of serious work so just fuckin' check some of his discography out!

Weyheyhey !! - Harlott
weeeeyheeeyheeeey!!!! The name could probably describe the music as well because that's what I burst out to myself the first time I heard his stuff.
Think 90's rave stabs with 90's pitched up rave singing and a good dose of amen jungle breaks. The pitch goes up on the snare. The pitch goes down. They stop. They start. - and it is always swinging. Though this has been done million times to death, I don't care, I like it.
This music has a lot of E in it, as in energy but also... I'll let you figure that one out yourself. Too obvious. Anyways both of these E's goes very well with partying and that's just what this music is - fucking party music! If you're into Venetian Snares but haven't heard of this guy, think of the song Husikam Rave Dojo from his ep Pink + Green, and you're close enough.
Weyheyhey !! has the Harlott E.P. up on the label Love Love Records and it's available for free download.
1. You're So Cool 3:35
2. I Do All The Nasty Things You Love 7:02
3. Go Fuck Yourself 3:00
4. Loving The Girl Who Hates Me 3:34

Falcon
Who is he? The personal information I've gathered thus far is from a poster from his myspace picture gallery:
"C-drík (aka Kirdec) is a multifaced vegan artist, academically trained musician, dj, singer, composer and drummer. He is a former student of electro-acoustic composer Anette Vande Gorne (Royal Conservatory of Mons, Belgium).
Of Greek, Zairian and Belgium descent, born in Congo (former Zaire) C-drík grew up in Belgium and also lived in the Netherlands. He is an eternal voyager and performed in numerous countries across North America, Europe, the Middle-east, Africa and Asia. He started his first project in 1989 and juggles in between many projects and electronic genres.
He is also a label maneger and gig organizer who produces his own projects and experimental artists who predominantly originate from Asia and Africa on the labels Syrphe and Textolux"
Seems like I'm writting about a manic workoholic genious and one of the projects of his I'm writting about today is Falcon. I discovered Falcon like a half year ago and it instantly caught my ear.
The music is mostly based on hectic electronic drum samples in the viens of "blips, klicks and klacks" and incredible hard-hitting epic, rhythmetic and rounded synthesizers. For me, this never feels dragged out because while one song might be going through a certain part(no such thing as chorus or verse in this music) the drum patterns never seem to repeat themselves and they always seem refreshing and interesting. The songs have many interesting eerie little synthesizers that goes through a journey of every little modulation effect that seems appropiate and fitting. I find that all too few producers use their syntesizers as rhythmetic as C-drík does. Why not use a typical pad and automate it, so that it contributes to the beat. That is nice. Although most people would find this very chaotic and random, all these layers seem to hold hands, feed of each other and carry each other on their backs to me. The sound is sharp, fresh and very well produced. Bizarre art at it's finest!
